Vicky did not budge on her stance that I was not going to get a discount and it did not matter I was pushed to a standard room. I pressed that it seemed I was being ripped off, since I reserved a larger room that was $65 more than the standard room rate, although I was being forced to use a standard room because Wyndham was changing to a Marriott and I am still paying a bunk bed rate. The manager Vicky just stated again, that I had a discounted rate and she is not allowed to change the rate to any lower based on Corporate policy. I agreed I most likely got a discount on the bunk bed room rate costs, although I was not in the bunk bed room, I was in a smaller room. I was informed that I was still being charged the bunk bed room rate, and that they could not lower my charge since I was getting a discounted price on the bunk bed room rate because of my AARP discount. I noticed that the room we were in, actually goes for $65 dollars less then what we were being charged, I went to management and asked that they lower our price to match what we are being charged. Although once in the room and wanted to give the kids a bath, we noticed that rust was building up around the drain. Having no option we took what we could and made the best of it.

I was informed I could go to another hotel, or take what they can offer which was a smaller room, with free breakfast vouchers, which were worthless to our family since we had booked breakfasts at Disneyland for our whole trip. The clerk just kept repeating which I am sure they were trained to say, sorry the room cannot be used because in a few weeks they will be a Marriot, I informed the clerk that it is so odd that over the years, the only time we actually reserved the bunk bed room, the only time we got it was when their manager wanted me to change a negative posts. Febuary 13, 2018, we arrived at Wyndham for the 4th time (third time we booked the bunk bed room on our own via the Wyndham site), we were immediately told we could not stay in the bunk bed room, because the hotel is changing to a Marriot, which I was confused on what does that have to do with my stay. I did write positive post after that stay, since management attempted to right the wrong. The experience that the kids would never forget was a couple bags of free nut and a candy bar. We did stay at the hotel in the bunk bed room for 3 nights at a discounted price and what management said would be an experience we would never forget. I did write a bad review because of this experience and the manager asked me to take it down if they made up for the past experience with our stays at the hotel. Twice we had reserved the bunk bed room and twice we arrived at the hotel to be told that they had overbooked the room and we had to take a smaller room or just go to a different hotel. I did write a poor service post in 2016, which I noticed is not there any longer. In 2016 lived in CA in 2016, so I would not have flown in with my family, which the posts refers too. First there is a posting credit to my profile, written August 2016, which is NOT mine.
